3D Printing for Parts & Model Components
Turn a digital design into a physical object you can hold, display or assess. Projects can include custom stands, demonstration pieces and printed model components. Share your intended use, dimensions, quantity and preferred finish so we can discuss the requirements.
Have a prototype in mind? Tell us what you need to learn from it. Material choice, suitability and the project scope can be discussed before work begins.
Help people understand technical details with physical display and cutaway models. Examples in our gallery include valve cutaways, printed assemblies and models presented at trade shows.
Tell us what the model should demonstrate, who will use it and how it will be displayed.
Start with a physical part, even when the original CAD files are unavailable. CMK Industries offers 3D scanning and CAD remodeling to help recreate existing geometry and develop replacement parts.
We discuss the part’s intended use, important dimensions, mating surfaces and the condition of the original. Scan data and measurements provide a starting point for rebuilding the CAD model and planning a printed replacement.
Cutter-body reverse engineering project. Main structural body printed; original OEM mechanism reused.
A broken cutter body was reverse engineered, remodeled in CAD and 3D printed as a replacement main structural body.
Only the main structural cutter body was printed. The moving linkage, springs and metal components were reused original OEM parts.
Fit, material choice and durability need to be assessed for the intended use. Replacement work starts with the specific part and its requirements.

What to Include in Your Inquiry
Share dimensions, intended use, preferred quantity, and your timeline. For an existing digital design, mention its file format. Materials, finish, feasibility, deliverables, and pricing can be discussed for your specific project.
Describe any sketches, reference images, or CAD files in your inquiry. We can arrange to exchange files when we reply.
